Nu Alpha

Est. 2017

Transferring into a brand new school can be a tough transition. As a Greek transfer, one of the most missed experiences is staying connected in a sorority. Some women are lucky enough to rejoin their sorority at their new school. However, some do not have that luxury. The solution? Nu Alpha.

Who We Are

Nu Alpha social club is meant to supply the instant connection and bond that every sorority offers their members. Instead of each woman being a member of one sorority, the women in Nu Alpha come from all different sorority backgrounds, making up a new and unique sisterhood.

Every woman should be able to continue her sorority college experience, no matter where she comes from or where she goes. Nu Alpha provides transfer women the opportunity to extend their sorority lifestyles and lifetime friendships with other Greek- initiated sisters.

The University of North Alabama is the first campus to charter Nu Alpha social club. Being apart of this experience is truly historic and unforgettable.

Welcome Home!

Honor. Loyalty. Wisdom.

The Alpha Chapter of Nu Alpha was established January 18, 2017 at the University of North Alabama. The idea came from Dr. Beth Garfrerick, the Alpha chapter's now advisor. After almost half a year of searching for girls who were in this position, we finally reached the 10 required members to become an official organization at the university.
